Fathy brings to light problems of Egyptian peasants, and provides a simple, cheap, and efficient solution. But would this project would have worked better if he had executed it differently? I liked this book because it opened my eyes to age old, yet contemporary, solutions to the housing problems of the poor. Yet I question whether failures came in the design or execution. A very interesting read that will force the reader to think of all aspects of civilization as we know it.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
