This is a truly wonderful book for both the beginning and advanced architectural student. The marriage of historically notable architectural structures and basic architectural principles is a great method of incorporating history into a student's design education. The advanced student should always be able to find inspiration from this book if he/she reaches a standstill in the design process.
I am a begining Architectural design student and this is the book that was selected to use during class.It is very informative,easy to follow and will serve as a staple throughtout your design career. It's starts off basic and progresses. The graphics,illustrations, and steps are easy to follow so that you can learn to improve your design technique.
I bought this book recently and haven't put it down, it is a great reference book if you are at all interested in architecture and interior design.
