Overview

A bit early to get swoony knickers but I have got them on.

For Georgia, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Just when she thought she was the official one-and-only girlfriend of Masimo, he's walked off into the night with the full hump, leaving Georgia all aloney on her owney—again. All because Dave the Laugh tried to do fisticuffs at dawn with him!

Two boys fighting over Georgia? It's almost as romantic as Romeo and Juliet . . . though perhaps a touch less tragic.

It's time for Georgia to get to the bottom (oo-er) of this Dave the Laugh spontaneous puckering business once and for all. It's like they always say: If you snog a mate in the forest of red bottomosity and no one is around to see it, is he still a mate? Or is he something more?

Editorial Reviews

VOYA - Heather Pittman
This final installment of the Confessions of Georgia Nicholson series finds fifteen-year-old Georgia enjoying her status as girlfriend of a pop star until her boyfriend Masimo and his band, the Stiff Dylans, are asked to move to London. Should she bravely tell him to go or ask him to stay? Would she actually rather hang out with Dave-the-Laugh? Georgia turns to her friends, the Ace Gang, for advice. Georgia's diary entries also include her perfectly mad family, the comedic value of the German language, and the upcoming school production of Romeo and Juliet. Rennison's writing is breezy and fun. Georgia and her chums introduce readers to a new vocabulary, from British slang to their own vernacular. Thankfully a handy glossary provides helpful, hilarious definitions. Georgia is a typical teen, obsessed with boys, her appearance, and herself, embarrassed by her family and impatient with school. Her diary proves her to be self-involved, but also funny, kind, and a good friend. This solid series has begun feeling repetitive by this tenth volume. The book also has an abrupt ending, as the final resolution wraps up in a few paragraphs, making it disappointingly brief. Otherwise it is an excellent ending to a wonderful series. Nickelodeon is currently showing Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, the movie adaptation of the first novel, which may increase demand. Reviewer: Heather Pittman

    A good book....nothing more

Okay, so being an avid reader of the series, i did everything i could to get my hands on this book as quickly as possible. So I discovered that it came out in july in shakespeare-a-go-go land. I preordered it, and recieved it mid july. It was not worth the extra shipping cost. It still had georgia and co. acting crazy as always. but something about this book lacks the flare, or "spark" of the other nine. I mean it was pretty obvious what the main plotline in this book would be, but you still expect to be shocked by whatever louise pulls out of her hat. I was not, and it was sad. Georgia did not go out with a bang, she just kind of walked of the stage. Nothing more.

    Amazingly Side-Stitchingly Awesome Amazing

The entire series is a must-read and really well plotted story. I loved its complications, whuch were usually hilarious situations to read about. Georgia is lovable though a bit crazy and I'm sad to see her go. The only complaint I had was that she should have spent more time with TheBoyWhoShallNotBeNamed because it was a little annoying to wait until she finally realized that he was the one for her and then have them spend the total of one page in unashamed love. That was a bit ridiculous. But otherwise this book was amazing, and I recommend it for teen girls who need a god laugh and are not really uptight. You kind of a need a sense of humor for this series. Loved it!

Great ending to the Georgia series. Was just as funny as the previois nine and loved how she ended up having to choose between Masimo and Dave the Laugh (he really is quite the laugh). Just wish the ending went out with a little more hilariosity rather than sophisticosity (lol). Still a great book and sad to see the series ending. If there were twentu more, I'd read them all in a heartbeat :)

Georgia Nicolson has a great life. She has a sexy boyfriend, great friends, and a pretty active social life.

Things took an abrupt halt, however, when her beau, Masimo, went off in a huff after the school dance, because Dave the Laugh decided to get into a fight with him over Georgia. Two boys fighting over you - who could ask for anything more?

Now, both boys aren't talking to her and Masimo won't return any of her phone calls. To make matters worse, Wet Lindsay, the school's popular mean girl, is rubbing it in her face that she's still with Georgia's first crush, Robbie. Will Georgia's love life straighten out or is she doomed for spinsterville already?

A humorous conclusion to this popular young adult series. It's entertaining and readers will enjoy following Georgia's love and social life. The characters are easy to relate to and they keep the book's pace up well.

It is recommended, however, that you read the previous books in order to understand the unique way Georgia talks and expresses herself.

    The End

I'm sad to see this series end. I know it's time though, 10 books is a lot. I've read all the other Georgia books and I have loved absolutely all of them. This one however seemed, kind of boring. Like it dragged on a bit too much and was just very repetitive. It didn't seem like the usual fun, crazy, randomosity the other 9 had. And I was happy with the way things ended, but not with the way the book itself ended. I thought it lacked any type of a feeling of the series ending, or the book ending. It's like she just kind of stopped writing. It was still hilarious, but it wasn't as good as the others.

    laughter laughter luaghter

I started this series when i was in 9th grade. Something about the lime green cover among the many brown books caught my eye. I read the title and IMMEDIATELY asked WHAT KIND OF BOOK IS THIS? of course i had to read the first page, i choked on my gum! I read the first and second book in between my textbooks in class. Then i hooked my best friend on it too! We would brust out in laughter in biology because Georgia had poked her eye with a mascara wand. Almost cracked our ribs when we read libbys song. They are great all TEN of them i reread them every summer and it never gets old. I wish this series Hadnt ended. Louise Rennison please please please write at least one more of Georgia when shes older!!! This book is light Humorous and witty witty !! EVERYONE SHOULD READ IT. well... everyone with a sarcastic seriously twisted sense of humor. even remebering makes me laugh

    Great Quick Read

This book was an excellent end to a wonderful series. Georgia and the gang kept me laughing the whole way through. I became quite invested in the characters and was very sad when it was over. If there were 10 more confessions of Georgia Nicolson I would read them. This book is a feel good, fun read that is good for anytime of year. I look forward to reading Louise Rennison's new series.

Nice finish to a very funny series!

The 10th and final book of the Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series, while not a work of remarkable literature, is an extremely funny book and a pleasure to read. It's not my favorite of the series, but it doesn't disappoint.
