Overview

Socrates once said, “An unexamined life is not worth living.” Well, doesn’t that hold true to faith? Just as there are no two persons or thumbprints alike, there are a wide variety of reasons a person chooses to acknowledge God, transform their attitudes, and approach life situations and choices within the parameter of God’s will and I ventured deep into the lives of the faith-filled to find out just what those reasons were.
Filled with much of the same narratives as in the Bible, ‘Are You As Close to God As You Are To My Bumper?’ is a collection of personal memoirs on faith where you will encounter real life struggle, doubt, failure, hard-heartedness, and the all too familiar moments of wavering faith along with the lessons that ignite belief, trust, gifts of the Holy Spirit, and our God almighty’s forgiveness, mercy, and grace to those who repent and believe. This book has been designed to bring clarity and hope to your wandering days. It’s meant to be your companion.

Editorial Reviews

www.patriciaedwardsbooks.com - Robert Hahn
“Patricia Edwards has written more than a book. Through this compelling collection of genuine life changing stories, she has painted a vivid picture of Jesus Christ working in the lives of individuals which the Holy Spirit weaves into the fabric known as the Body of Christ. This book belongs on the shelves of every believer.”
walkinghomeward.blogspot.com - Charles Speakman
Ms. Edwards’s thoughtful selection of the accounts of individual faith has created a book that can catch the attention of people in many walks of life. Each story is a different human, a different soul, a different life story and a different situation. It is not simply a walk of faith through one heart or one set of eyes but a flash book of many lives.
www.patriciaedwardsbooks.com - Chastity Bush
“The stories within this book will resonate with many readers in this day and age. Many will find the testimonies inspirational and possibly helpful with something they may be going through.”

This book is like no other and its exactly what society needs -

This book is like no other and its exactly what society needs - especially those new to faith. I was able to relate to many of the people and predicaments mentioned. Being able to relate reminded me that I have never been alone on this life path and as the author states, "You do not need to be a saint in order for Heaven to be revealed." Inspirational and a must read!!
