One of the great things about "Are You Ready?" is that Bob takes a significant portion of the book to discuss the emotional/mental challenges that are faced when trying to lose weight. As someone who is in the process of losing a fairly decent amount, it was the first time that I've encountered a book that goes so in depth into that aspect - which I consider being the most difficult part of trying to lose weight. He also includes general guidelines to losing weight and plenty of workout ideas. I would highly recommend this to anyone who's looking to lose a few or many pounds.

This book is so awesome!!!!! It is my Biggest loser bible. Bob is so supportive and so understanding of people. He is a lifesaver to so many people, including me. I have lost 31 pounds so far and I feel great. Thank you to The Biggest Loser and thank you to Bob Harper for being a true angel. This book will be recommended to anyone needing weight loss inspiration.

I have been a fan of the Biggest Loser for a couple of years and am a member of the online site. I find this book to deal with the issues that keep so many doing the yoyo weight loss weight gain spiral. Bob is very passionate about life and helping others and it is so obvious in this book. I would recommend this without a second thought.

I really liked the book Are You Ready, by Bob Harper. It is where I and so many of my friends are. We are at the OK, I want to do it, why can't I keep juggling my life and this exercise routine, eating plan and..... I like the way Bob addresses this. Just start. Just do the cardio for 30 days. 30 days is what it takes to create a habit. Do the cardio. We can add more later. Thanks. I can do the cardio for 30 days. I don't have to worry about this on this day, that exercise on that day, you have to do this, all I have to do is the cardio. It's a good book for people who need to better understand how it all works together in a simple to understand, confidence gaining format.

when i read this it just inspired my to do this the right way. bob goes into detail about what to eat(he has a week of meals and snacks plained) and a whole bunchh of workouts. give a try. i loved it!

Very helpful in getting you into a frame of mind in order to make a lifestyle change. It helps address if there are other issues stopping you from losing weight and making a lifestyle change. Would really love to see more from Bob Harper. I would like to see him do/write something outside of the Biggest Loser as he is a very inspirational trainer with great motivation.
