Overview

Can true love survive despite the passage of centuries of time? Psychologist Sarah Hagan may have to pay the ultimate price to obtain the answer.

Sarah's once safe, quiet life working as a hypnotherapist in Chicago has been completely up-ended by Aris, a vampire whose story first began during the time of Alexander the Great. Aris has taken over the human body of one of Sarah's patients so that he can be once again close to the only woman to have ever captured his heart. Before Sarah can be sure of her love for Aris, she must overcome obstacles not only in her own modern-day world, but also in Aris' underground world of the Catacombs, as well as in the mountains of Spain where a vampire war threatens to erupt.

Did Sarah and Aris' love first ignite during the reign of Henry the VIII when Sarah was the handmaiden at court, Elizabeth Wyatt? Who is the stunningly handsome DeMarco who courts Sarah and will he entice her away from Aris? Can Sarah possibly be welcome in Aris' Catacombs? Will Sarah willingly give up her human life so that she can be with Aris--her one and only true love--for all eternity? Only time will tell.

Meet the Author

Devin Morgan is not only a writer of thrilling romance novels by night, but also a practicing clinical hypnotherapist and founder and director of the Rishi Institute where she teaches hatha yoga by day. Before Devin focused on all three of these careers after she shuttered her corporate business as a printing broker, she embarked on a mid-life journey to the Middle East in a search for personal happiness.

Devin received both her yoga instructor’s certificate in 1992 and her clinical hypnotherapist certification in 1994, after which she began instructing clients both one-on-one and in groups. She has presented workshops both domestically and internationally and led retreats in England, Egypt, Jordan and Israel as an active part of the world wellness community. Her Rishi Institute is recognized by the Yoga Alliance, a national organization that sets high standards for the teaching of yoga in this country. Over the years Devin has taught thousands of people. Her personal happiness is created by helping to change the world one person at a time.

Devin’s greatest joy, however, is derived from reading and writing books. Sharing her knowledge and stories, both real and imagined, with readers around the world allows her to touch so many more people. She began writing non-fiction books on subjects related to health and wellness. Now, she is leaping into the world of fiction with a brand new twist on vampire romance with Aris Returns, her first book in The Infinity Diaries, a trilogy of death, love and reincarnation.

Devin lives, practices and writes in Los Angeles, California.

    A very successful sequel.

While I was finishing "ARIS RETURN: A VAMPIRE LOVE STORY", the first installment of this series, I expected to be surprised by the events  in this sequel.  A lot of questions had still been unanswered and the outcome had intrigued me.
Devin Morgan has kept its promises... Well written, this sequel was a page turner.

She took over the intriguing elements of the first volume as past lives and time travel without making it boring. Again, I was exciting to follow this regression through centuries.
Thus, it is Sarah's turn to delve into the era of Anne Boley and discover the life she led as her name was Elizabeth.

Of course, Aris awaits a sign from the psychologist to prove her that they are soulmates and are made ¿¿to love each others for eternity.
But not everything goes as planned.
A new gypsy lover, war, jealousy, desire and revenge will disrupt the frail balance in Sarah's world.

More focused on Sarah and the vampires congregation, this volume is less intense in the action but more in the emotion of the characters and the relationships with each others.
I regretted Carlos' impetuousity and his determination to improve himself but new characters were introduced and charm operated.
I also liked the idea of a past that weighs on our actual lives, how we love and interact with others.

Although, I realized ery quickly who was DeMarco, yet I was surprised by the new final twist.
A very successful sequel. I will continue to read the adventures of Aris and Sarah with pleasure.

    boring

I read this simply because i read the first one, an ocd i hate that i have. It was so much like the first one, dry. I read a lot and knew what was happening way too so, and had to force myself to finish it. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

    A good book!

I thought that this was an overall good book to read! It wasn't as good as the first book, and feels more like a precursor to the next book, but it was still pretty good!
