If you're a salsa 'foodie' looking for the 'different' and 'unexplored' - this is your book. Literally packed with info on places to eat, local foods, spectacular vistas, really great wildlife locations, and things to do - well, it is almost impossible to be bored. If you're a 'regular' traveler between San Diego and Tucson (and points north) you will certainly appreciate this little gem. What really works is the fact that you can plan a very interesting day (or two or three) and reward yourself at days-end with some of the finest Mexican cuisine this side of Sonora. Best of all, you will gain insight on food and lifestyles that you could never pick up on 'twitter-twaddle' - not to mention coming face-to-face with some of 'real' Arizona. Very well written, almost makes you feel as if you know the place before you arrive. Great photography, the food shots make you hungry and the destinations really do deliver!
