This is not a book. It is a fold out that is 22 inches long by 8 1/4 inches high printed both sides when open. It has a selection of species that one might see but far from comprehensive. I did not have the first couple of birds that I tried to find out what they were. I feel my money would have been better spent putting it towards a fild guide for an individual type of animal
