    Keeping Imagination Alive

I received my hard back copy of the 1969 version of Arm In Arm as a child and have cherished it to this day. It continues to inspire the wonder and creativity that I value from being a child. Of all the books that were included in the sets I received back then, this is the only book I took with me during every move. Sharing this treasure with my daughter beginning when she was five reinforced the inspiration I feel. She becomes jumping-up-and-down excited when we read 'mommy's special book'. Now that she is turning 8 I'm buying this newest version so she will have her own to treasure always.
