Editorial Reviews

From Barnes & Noble
With the fate of humanity hanging in the balance, the final showdown begins between Nicolae Carpathia's bloodthirsty legions and the ragtag remnant of faithful known as the Tribulation Force.
Foreign Affairs
This is the eleventh in a series of (hopefully) no more than twelve dismally written, thinly plotted novels filled with flimsy and unconvincing characters. Only popular fascination with apocalyptic prophecy can explain the series' sale so far of 5o million copies. A third of Americans believe that current events in the Middle East were prophesied in the Bible, and 44 percent expect to see the literal return of Christ in their lifetimes. Given the influence of fundamentalist Christians in the Republican Party, and the role conservative Christian activists have begun to play in forming U.S. policy toward Israel and its neighbors, foreign policy students in the United States and abroad are increasingly searching to understand their influential world view. The Left Behind books will help. They dramatize (if the word can be used for such clunky plots) the interpretation of biblical "end times" taught at the Tim LaHaye School of Prophecy at Jerry Falwell's Liberty University. Although other students of prophecy vigorously dispute details in LaHaye's interpretation, those wanting to familiarize themselves with the overall end-time scenario that has gripped the imagination of tens of millions of American voters would do well to start here. Interested parties can also go to the series' Web site where they will encounter one of the greatest orgies of religious marketing since itinerant indulgence sellers infuriated Martin Luther. Here the Left Behind books can be purchased in comic-book form. Although not the cheapest, this is certainly the least painful and most time-efficient way to follow the series; the videos are beginning to appear, but they take too long to watch.

Meet the Author

Jerry B. Jenkins & Tim LaHaye
Jerry B. Jenkins & Tim LaHaye
When the Left Behind series became a publishing phenomenon, no one was more surprised than its authors, evangelical preacher Tim LaHaye (left) and fiction writer Jerry B. Jenkins. Audiences gobbled up the duo’s thrilling novels, which combine romance, morality questions, and high-tech gadgetry against the dramatic backdrop of the apocalypse.

Biography

Sometimes, while sitting on airplanes, evangelical preacher Tim LaHaye would ask himself, “What if the Rapture occurred on an airplane?" That germ of an idea grew into the phenomenally successful Left Behind series, which LaHaye coauthors with fiction writer Jerry B. Jenkins. The books combine Biblical prophecy with speculative fiction to produce an action-packed thriller about events between the Rapture, when (according to one Christian tradition) the faithful will ascend to heaven, and the Second Coming.

Before the series began, Jenkins had carved out a career writing other people's autobiographies -- he ghostwrote or co-wrote those of Billy Graham, Orel Herschiser, Hank Aaron, and Nolan Ryan, among others -- as well as writing novels and a few inspirational books on marriage and parenting. Tim LaHaye also wrote books on marriage and faith, served as the pastor for a ministry in California, and co-founded The Pre-Trib Research Center, a Bible scholarship group dedicated to the study of end-times prophecy. LaHaye spent several years searching for a coauthor who could take his vision of the earth's last days -- including that intriguing image of passengers vanishing from an airplane -- and spin it into fiction. Finally, LaHaye and Jenkins were introduced by their mutual literary agent at Alive Communications, and Jenkins began writing the story of airline captain Rayford Steele, whose wife and son vanish along with millions of other true believers. Those "left behind" on Earth have a last chance to choose sides in the ensuing battle between good and evil.

The books became a blockbuster hit. Sales of the Left Behind series soared with each successive volume, and by 2001, ABC News reported, 50 million had been sold. "The formula combines Tom Clancy-like suspense with touches of romance, high-tech flash and Biblical references," The New York Times wrote, explaining how its authors pulled off "an unparalleled achievement for an evangelical novel." LaHaye and Jenkins were stunned by their own success: "I've been writing for 40 years, with 12 million books in print, but I've never seen anything like this," said LaHaye.

The series has spawned a slew of spinoffs: comic books, calendars, a young adults' series, dramatized audio recordings and a movie based on the first book. It has also generated controversy, both within and without the Christian community, for issues ranging from politics (the U.N. figures into the story as a tool of the Antichrist) to Scriptural interpretation (many New Testament scholars reject LaHaye's belief, first popularized by John Nelson Darby in the 1830s, in a seven-year tribulation period following the Rapture).

But LaHaye and Jenkins are convinced that their message is getting through to their readers. They estimate that more than 2,000 people have converted as a result of reading the Left Behind books. "And needless to say, for us that's more important than bestsellers, or money, or anything else," says Jenkins.

Chapter One

For the first time since takeoff, Rayford Steele had second thoughts about his and Abdullah Smith's passenger. "We shouldn't have brought her, Smitty," he said. He stole a glance at Abdullah behind the controls.

The Jordanian shook his head. "That's on you, Captain, I am sorry to say. I tried to tell you how important she was to Petra."

The darkness enveloping only New Babylon, but visible from more than a hundred miles, was unlike anything Rayford had ever seen. By the time Abdullah initiated the descent of the Gulfstream IX toward Iraq, the clock read 1200 hours, Palace Time.

Normally the magnificent structures of the new world capital gleamed stunningly in the noonday sun. Now a stark and isolated column of blackness rose from New Babylon's expansive borders into the cloudless heavens as high as the eye could see.

Chang Wong was Rayford's mole inside the palace. Trusting the young man's assurances that they would be able to see where others could not, Rayford traded glances with Abdullah as he guided the craft into the dark from the whiteness reflecting off the desert sand. Abdullah flipped on his landing lights.

Rayford squinted. "Do we need an ILS approach?"

"Instrument landing system?" Abdullah said. "Don't think so, Captain. I can see enough to fly."

Rayford compared the freakish darkness to the beautiful day they had left in Petra. He peeked over his shoulder at the young woman, whom he expected to look afraid. She didn't. "We can still turn back," he said. "Your father looked reluctant when we boarded."

"That was probably for your benefit," Naomi Tiberias said. "He knows I'll be fine."

The teenage computer whiz's humor and self-confidence were legendary. She seemed shy and self-conscious around adults until she got to know them; then she interacted like a peer. Rayford knew she had brought Abdullah up to speed in computer savvy, and she had been in nearly constant touch with Chang since the lights went out in New Babylon.

"Why is it dark only here?" Naomi said. "It's so strange."

"I don't know," Rayford said. "The prophecy says it affects 'the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness.' That's all we know."

Rayford's every visit to Petra had found Naomi growing in influence and responsibility among the Remnant. She had emerged early as a technological prodigy, and as she taught others, Naomi had become the de facto head of the vast computer center. Quickly rising from go-to person to the one in charge, she'd finally become the teacher who taught teachers.

The center that had been designed by Chang's predecessor, the late David Hassid, was now the hub that kept Petra in touch with more than a billion souls every day. Thousands of computers allowed that many mentors to keep up with Tsion Ben-Judah's universal cyberaudience. Naomi personally coordinated the contact between Chang in New Babylon and the Tribulation Force around the world.

Having her join the flight to rescue him from New Babylon had been Chang's idea. Rayford had initially rejected it. He had enough trouble assigning himself the task of traveling more than seventy-five hundred miles from San Diego to Petra, then having Abdullah fly him the last five hundred miles to New Babylon. Combat-trained George Sebastian was better suited, but Rayford thought the big man had been through enough for a while. There was plenty for him to do in San Diego, and anyway, Rayford wanted to save George for what Dr. Ben-Judah called the "battle of that great day of God Almighty," now less than a year off.

Mac McCullum and Albie, stationed in Al Basrah-little more than two hundred miles south of New Babylon-stood ready. But Rayford had other things in mind for them.

Rayford's son-in-law and daughter, Buck and Chloe Williams, both wanted in on the extraction of Chang from the enemy lair-no surprise-but Rayford was convinced Buck would soon be more valuable in Israel. As for Chloe, the International Commodity Co-op always suffered when she was away. And somebody had to be there for little Kenny.

"Store and grab all the equipment you need while I'm en route, Chang," Rayford had said, the phone tucked between his shoulder and ear as he packed. "Smitty and I will come get you in a couple of days."

Chang had explained that the job was too big and that he and Naomi working together could get him out of there that much faster. "I don't want to miss a thing. She can help. I want to be able to monitor this place from anywhere."

"Don't worry," Rayford said. "You'll get to see her face-to-face soon enough."

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Her father is one of the Petra elders, you know."

"So?"

"Only the two of them are left in the family. He's very protective."

"We both have too much work to do."

"Uh-huh."

"I'm not kidding, Captain Steele. Please bring her along. It's not like I haven't seen her on-screen already."

"So, what do you think?"

"I told you. We have a lot of work to do."

* * *

Rayford felt a tug on the back of his copilot's chair as Naomi pulled herself forward. "Can Mr. Smith see to land?"

"Not sure yet," Rayford said. "It's as if someone painted our windows brown. See if you can raise our boy."

Chang was to be sure the New Babylon runways were clear, but he couldn't talk by phone Tim LaHaye & Jerry B. Jenkins 5 from there for fear someone would overhear. Naomi pulled a small, thin computer from an aluminum box and attacked the keys.

"Avoid runways 3 left and 3 right," she said. "And he wants to know which you choose so he can be there to meet us."

Rayford glanced at Abdullah. "He's serious, Naomi?"

She nodded.

"Tell him the tower is closed, and it's not like we were going to announce our arrival anyway. We can't see which runway is which from up here, so he's going to have to give us coordinates and-"

"Hold on," Naomi said, keyboarding again. "He's attached everything you need." She passed the machine to Rayford and pointed at the attachment. "It is voice activated. Just tell it what you want."

"It'll recognize my voice?" Rayford said, studying the screen.

"Yes," the computer intoned.

Naomi chuckled.

"Attachment, please," Rayford said.

A detailed grid appeared with an aerial view of the New Babylon airfield.

"I'll set the coordinates for you, Smitty," Rayford said, reaching to program the flight management system.

"This thing will do everything but cook a meal for you, Captain Steele," Naomi said. "You have an infrared port?"

"I assume. Do we, Smitty?"

Abdullah pointed to a spot on the control panel.

"Here," Naomi said. "Let me." She leaned over Rayford's shoulder and pointed the back of the computer at the port. "Ready to land, Captain?" she said.

"Roger."

"Initiate landing sequence," she said and hit a button.

"Runway choice?" the computer asked.

Naomi looked at Rayford, who looked to Abdullah. "Does that thing recognize even my accent?" the Jordanian said.

"Yes," the computer said. "Congestion on runways 3 left and 3 right. Please select from runways 11 or 16."

"Eleven," Abdullah said.

"Left or right?" the computer said. "Left," Abdullah said. "Why not?"

Abdullah engaged the left autopilot and lifted his hands from the controls. "Thank you," he said.

"You're welcome," the computer said.

Six minutes later the Gulfstream touched down.

* * *

At just after one o'clock in the morning in San Diego, Buck bolted upright in bed.

Chloe stirred. "Go back to sleep, hon," she said. "You stood watch three straight nights. Not tonight."

He held up a hand.

"You need your sleep, Buck."

"Thought I heard something."

The tiny walkie-talkie on the nightstand chirped. Sebastian's telltale code. Buck grabbed it. "Yeah, George."

"Motion detector," Sebastian whispered.

Now Chloe sat up too.

"I'll check the periscope," Buck said.

"Carefully," Sebastian said. "Don't raise or rotate it."

"Roger. Anybody else aware?"

"Negative."

"On it."

Chloe was already out of bed and had pulled on a sweatshirt. She unlocked a cabinet, removed two Uzis, and tossed one to Buck as he headed for the periscope next to Kenny's tiny chamber. He set the weapon on the floor, dropped the walkie-talkie into his pajama pocket, and bent to peer into the viewer. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness he was aware of Chloe opening and closing Kenny's door. Going on four years old, Kenny slept longer but less soundly than he used to.

"He out?" Buck said, eyes still glued to the scope.

"Dead to the world," Chloe said, draping a sweater around Buck's shoulders. "As you should be."

"Wish I was," Buck said.

"I should think so." She rested her palms on his shoulders. "What do you see?"

"Nothing. George doesn't think I ought to rotate the scope. It's facing west at ground level. I'd love to elevate it about six inches and let it give me a three-sixty."

"He's right, babe," she said. "You know it's got that whine when it moves. Anybody out there could hear it."

"I don't think anybody is out there," Buck said, pulling away and rubbing his eyes.

She sighed. "Want a chair?"

He nodded and returned to the periscope. "Could have been an animal. Maybe the wind."

Chloe pressed a chair behind his knees and guided him into it. "That's why you should just let me-"

"Oh no," he said.

"What?"

He put a finger to his lips and pulled out the walkie-talkie. "George," he whispered. "Six, seven, eight, nine. Nine uniformed, armed GC directly above to the west."

"Doing?" "Not much. Kicking at the vents. They look bored. Maybe something caught their eye on the way by."

"Vehicles?"

"I'd have to raise or rotate."

"Negative. Any more?"

"Can't tell from this angle. No more coming past. Only three left in sight now."

"Listen for engines."

Buck sat silent a moment. Then, "Yeah, there's one. And another."

"I hear 'em," George said. "Must be leaving. Can I come over?"

"Tell him no," Chloe whispered.

* * *

What palace personnel Rayford could make out in the eerie sepia-toned landscape through the cockpit window appeared to be in agony. Chang had told him that the people writhed and moaned, but a jet screaming onto the runway also clearly terrified them. They had to think it was about to crash, as some had on runways 3 left and 3 right.

It was as if the people had given up trying to see. Anyone near the Gulfstream IX had stumbled in the darkness to get away from it, and now they huddled here and there.

"That has to be Chang," Rayford said, pointing to a slight Asian hurrying toward them and gesturing wildly to open the door.

"Let me get that, Miss Naomi," Abdullah said, unstrapping himself and climbing past her. As he pushed the door open and lowered the steps, Rayford saw Chang turn to a small group of men and women in dark jumpsuits feeling their way along behind him.

"Keep your distance!" he shouted. "Danger! Hot engines! Leaking fuel!"

They turned and hurried away in all directions. "How did it land?" someone shouted.

"It's a miracle," another said.

"Did you all remember rubber-soled shoes?" Chang said, reaching to help them off the plane.

"Nice to meet you too, Mr. Wong," Abdullah said.

Chang shushed him. "They're blind," he whispered. "Not deaf."

"Chang," Rayford began, but the boy was shyly greeting Naomi. "All right, you two, get acquainted back at the ranch. Let's do what we have to and get out of here."

* * *

"Should I change?" Buck said when he saw Sebastian in fatigues.

"Nah. I always wear these on watch. Let me have a look." He peered through the periscope. "Nothing. Want to raise and rotate it, Buck?"

"Be my guest."

"Clear. False alarm."

Chloe snorted. "Don't be saying that to put me at ease. At least nine GC were out there, and for all we know there were more, and they'll be back."

"Hey," Sebastian said, "why not assume the best and not the worst?"

"Maybe I am," she said. "Priscilla and Beth Ann sleep through this?"

He nodded. "I might not even tell Priss, so I'd appreciate it-"

"If I didn't either? Makes sense, George. Let the little woman carry on, oblivious to the fact that it's time to move," said Chloe.

"Move?" Buck said. "I can't even imagine it."

"Then we sit here and wait till they find us, which they may already have?"

"Chloe, listen," Buck said. "I should have let you take a look at those guys. They weren't even suspicious. They were probably talking about how this used to be a military base. They weren't tense, weren't really looking. They just saw the vents and checked them out, that's all." Chloe shook her head and slumped in a chair. "I hate living like this."

"Me too," Sebastian said. "But what're our options? GC found an enclave of people without the mark yesterday in what's left of LA. Executed more'n two dozen."

Chloe gasped. "Believers?"

"Don't think so. Usually they'll say if it's Judah-ites. I got the impression it was some militia holdouts, something like that."

"Those are the people we're trying to reach," Chloe said. "And here we all sit, unable to show our faces, raising babies who hardly ever see the sun. Isn't there somewhere in the middle of nowhere where the GC wouldn't even know we were around?"

"The next best thing is Petra," Buck said. "They know who's there, but they can't do a thing about it."

"That's starting to sound more attractive all the time. Anyway, what are we going to do about what just happened?"

Buck and Sebastian looked at each other.

"Come on, guys," Chloe said. "You think Priscilla doesn't know you're gone and isn't going to ask where you've been?"

"She knows I was on watch."

"But you don't come over here unless something's up."

"I'm hoping she slept through it." Chloe stood and moved to Buck's lap. "Look, I'm not trying to be cantankerous. Buck, tell him."

"Chloe Steele Williams is not trying to be cantankerous," he announced.

"Good," Sebastian muttered. "Coulda fooled me."

Chloe shook her head. "George, please. You know I think you're one of the best things that's ever happened to the Trib Force. You bring gifts nobody else has, and you've kept us from disaster more than once. But everyone living here deserves to know what you guys saw tonight. Not telling people, pretending it didn't happen, isn't going to change that we came this close to being found out."

"But we didn't, Chloe," Sebastian said.

A great book! Definitely a good read!

I really enjoyed this book! I loved all the action in it and I thought the fact that it focused on God was really cool! I would suggest this book to anyone who is interested in Revelation and who wants to find a clean book with some action in it! I would not suggest this book to a less mature reader. It can be graphic.

(Almost) Favorite Book in the Series!

I love this book. It's not only about everything leading up to the Battle of Armageddon but, to me, it's Chloe's Book. Pretty early into the book, she's captured by the GC. The testimony she upholds as she's going through unimagineable trials and the temptations to save herself and Kenny is amazing! The way she deals with everything thrown at her speaks to me as a wife and mother. What would I do, if I were in the same situation? I pray I'd be just like her. This is my favorite book in the Left Behind series, right behind "Glorious Appearing" which is the most amazing in the series. These 2 books make the very perfect ending to Left Behind, and I highly recommend them.

    So close

One year left to go of the Tribulation....and Armageddon (The Cosmic Battle of the Ages) is coming.

When we left off in "The Remnant", New Babylon (the Antichrist's home base) was suffering from a plague of darkness. Because of this, Rayford and Abdullah are more easily able to get Chang out of New Babylon. Buck and Chloe, along with Kenny (now four) and some of the other Tribulation Force members are in a safe house in San Diego. After they see some GC nosing around, eventually Chloe's curiousity gets the best of her and she goes out of the compound to investigate - and is captured. Those at Petra continue to thrive; some of our long time friends are seriously injured, even killed; everyone is gearing up for the great battle.....we are left with a cliffhanger - who will survive and make it to the Glorious Appearing?

Not gonna lie....I got a little emotional reading this one. Looking forward to number 12!

    Battle of the Ages

This eleventh book in the best-selling Left Behind starts with the scattered members of the Trib Force trying to get their tattered members gathered in the New Babylon of the Middle East. As the great Armageddon draws near, friendships who were thought to be safe are torn, and some safe houses and no longer safe. The millions who still refuse Christ suffer physically unimaginable boils and pain, even as Tsion continues to preach of God's hand desiring those to come to Him. Then It has come. Horsemen and weapons all advance as all of the human race fear for their lives and to be left standing at the end. This was a book I reviewed for Tyndale House Publishers.

    Armageddon

With New Babylon now shrouded in total darkness only believers can see leaving unbelievers with blinded eyes. A member of the tribulation force is taken into custody and the future of the other members seems questionable. Tsion and Buck journey to Jerusalem as the Jewish people prepare for the greatest battle the world has ever faced. Chang and Naomi have become closer. The world is coming to a climactic conclusion as the antichrist steps up his massive destruction.
With love found and great loss this is one of the most tense and nonstop yet in the series yet also one of the saddest. More deaths have unfolded leaving the tribulation force with less members to fight Carpathia and his followers.

This is my favorite in the series to date and I look forward with mixed feelings to the last book. I have really gotten attached to these characters and although I cannot wait to see what happens in the final book I really do not want it to end. Excellent character development and realistic scene as well as dialogue makes this one one that I will reread in the near future. Just cannot seem to get enough of this series and find that it is so relevant to today's world and current events.

No One Is Safe! A Gripping Emotional Thriller

Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins in their book "Armageddon" Book Eleven in the Left Behind series published by Tyndale House Publishers brings us The Cosmic Battle of the Ages.

Get ready for a thrill ride we are one book away from the conclusion of this series and the authors ratchet up the suspense to its highest height. All eyes are on the Middle East as Nicolae, the antichrist, prepares to do battle against those who would oppose him. One of the Tribulation Force is captured with no hope for rescue and both Captain Rayford Steele and Buck Williams are seriously wounded.

In addition to all this the world has been through the tribulation, the last seven years before the triumphal return of Jesus. During this time God has used supernatural events to urge mankind to turn to Him and accept Him or face an eternity apart from Him. There were those that did accept God and those that chose the mark of the beast instead. Nobody is undeclared. That is the purpose of these books to show how terrible this last time will be and to see who will accept God now rather than wait until later and suffer through tribulation.

Dr. LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins provide a fictional background for the real events that the final book of The Bible, Revelation, speak about: the end times. The Biblical accuracy in"Armageddon" is flawless and the story is a page turning thriller. There are wonderful themes: salvation, faith in what you cannot see and who is in charge despite appearances to the contrary. I do not recommend starting this book late at night because it will cost you sleep as you will not want to put it down. Mr. Jenkins is an excellent writer and knows how to twist your nerve endings as he tightens the suspense. I am looking forward to book twelve in this series.

    Armageddon

In Armageddon, the eleventh book in the Left Behind Series, the Antichrist prepares to launch all the forces and technology of earth against the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The people of the world who have rejected their Creator are on the brink of destroying all He has made, including themselves.

As the novel begins, the whole world is in the dark, both metaphorically and literally. The Trib Force uses this judgment to operate undercover. Though they know what the Bible says about what is to come, they can't stand idly by and watch. They must prepare to face the Global Community Forces on the battle field and let come what may.

During this installment, some beloved characters are martyred. So close to the time when Christ will return again, they must say good-bye to each other--and to us. Those scenes are very affecting. (I couldn't help but think of modern day martyrs who are suffering for their Lord, even as I write this.) I loved it when God dispatched His angels to make appearances at mark application and guillotine sites for all to see these saints ushered into glory. I hope this is accurate. But if not, one thing I know, the God of mercy will always make a way to encourage His children when they need Him most.

In one fascinating scene towards the end of the book, Satan speaks through Carpathia to relate the history of mankind on earth from his perspective--reminding me a bit of Paradise Lost. He denies creation, shares how easy it was for him to introduce sin into the world, and discusses his attempts to eliminate the Jewish people. Of course, by this point in futuristic history, the other world leaders have no problem accepting his nefarious plan. Their complicity brought to mind a verse from Isaiah 5, "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." Amen!

    Armageddon

This book is as exciting as any of the others, plain and simple, if you have read the previous ten then you probably have no need to read this
review. The books are that darn good that you can't stop reading them.
The imagery in this book is what makes it so good. Just picturing seeing the horses of the Apocalypse riding by you - there would be no words.
There will be no denying Christ in the end days. The bible references continue in this book and I feel the book enhances the scripture and
stays with it. I love the writing because it makes it real and the situations are believeable. The characters are well developed by this time
if you have read the series all the way through. I love the story line and it is worth the read. With Christ's return eagerly awaited,
Tribulation Force member face the greatest trials thus far in the tribulation. In this book, we see major changes in the main characters.
It is difficult to say who will survive until the Glorious Appearing. As the Antichrist's armies mass on the plains of Meggido, the tension
is as finger-biting level. This book is definitely one of my favorites of the series. I just love how Dr. LaHaye and Mr. Jenkins take so much
scripture and turn it into a very fascinating fictional story that is highly based on truth.I loved this series, the books are exciting and
are very quick reads. Pick up the first one, i'll bet you can't put them down after that!

    Armageddon

This book of the series details the final battle of the devil to keep control before Christ comes. There is some amazing imagery in this book and reading the scriptures you read about the horses of the Apocalypse riding across the earth. In this book you actually see them with the characters and feel their breathe on your face as they encounter them riding right before their eyes. All of these books are good and this is one of my favorites. Read it to learn about the word of God.

    I Also Recommend:

    Excellent Reading

Excellent book! I read it on my Nook it 2 days! Armageddon brought the Book of Revelation to life and helped me understand much of the symbolism there. Among many of my Christian friends and even my friends of different religions it created a lively discussion with many questions being answered between all faiths.

Excellent reading, can't wait for the release the final book, The Glorious Appearing: The End of Days for my the NOOK.

    best book ever

This is one of the best books I have ever read! Although there are a few dry spots, the excitment of what is yet to come keeps me reading. With amazing plot schemes, and believable characters, this book is one of the best ones in the series! WIth much action and suspension, it is a great investment. I cant wait to finish this series and read more from these authors. Dont listen to the other critics, these books are amazing! I gave it five stars and would double that number if given the oppurtunity. I read about two books from this series a day. Once I opened the book I couldnt put it down. They were so good. KEEP READING!

    An outstanding book.

This is a great book. I was really disappointed at the Remnant. They could have summed it up in one chapter and put it at the beginning of this book. This was a great book. They took out half of the preaching and replaced it with action. They went back and forth between stories to keep you glued to the book. The only problem was at the end it was set up for a perfect ending but now they have a book 12. Something big better happen in book 12.
