I really enjoyed this book. I am a big of fan of Ms. Rock's, and this book is as good as I knew it would be. Rock shines the most when writing ménage, and this one was steamed up my glasses. I loved it. Loved the tension between the three main characters, loved the setting, loved everything. Write faster please! Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Fell Short of Potential! Rock has some really great storyline ideas. However, her execution of them is poor. It seems that the only way she knows how to develop a character is by having them "think" to themselves. This gets old very quickly. I have read other books by Rock. They all have amateurish writting, but this one seemed worse than the others. It is very difficult to overlook the poor writing when the main hero, Josh, wasn't even likable and neither was the secondary hero Fin. I couldn't help but feel that Lydia would have been so much better off without them both! Josh "thought" that Lydia was selfish and immature so he had to slam the door on her face. None of Lydia's actions or "thoughts" EVER revealed this to be true. If anything, Lydia, was the exact opposite. I could go on and on about how this story was a total let down. Suffice it to say that I will not be purchasing anymore of Rock's books even though the storylines seem very interesting. I will resist the temptation because I know Rock does not yet possess the writing skills to pull it off.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
