When glamorous New Yorker Ebony Queen moves in with her uncle in Atlanta after her mother's murder, she's determined to transform her country bumpkin cousin Reshunda into a diva. The only problem is Reshunda's meddlesome friend, Valencia. Someone needs to warn Ebony that this won't be as easy as she thinks.

Kelly Morgan is an around the way girl through and through, but her attraction to Dante Evans is so strong that she joins the New York City Police force just to be closer to him. Things become complicated when her brother, newly released from prison, discovers that his sister's boyfriend is the same cop who brought him down. Where will Kelly's loyalty lie?
