Editorial Reviews

Library Journal

Wedding and portrait photographer Smith specializes in creating photography-based stationery products. Writing for amateur and professional photographers, she focuses on the new technologies that make it easy to create custom invitations, announcements, thank you notes, and keepsake photo albums. Believing in both quality and simplicity, she recommends ways of working with a small kit of equipment based on one camera instead of a vanload of cameras and lights. Three chapters on defining one's style, photographing the engagement and shower, and photographing the wedding are followed by five chapters on working with the photos. This book fills a niche in the ever-changing world of photography and do-it-yourself crafts. Smith's enthusiasm and highly creative yet practical style recommend this work especially to beginners. Advanced photographers and professionals should see Marcus Bell's Master's Guide to Wedding Photography.
