Art Laboe's Dedicated to You, Vol. 2

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Tim Sendra
Art Laboe is a legendary DJ who came to prominence in the '50s in Los Angeles playing doo wop and R&B. He became a promoter, club owner, and syndicated radio star; his Killer Oldies show is still going strong. He is also a label proprietor with Original Sounds. The highlights of this volume are Bloodstone's "Natural High," the Moonglows' "Ten Commandments of Love," the Originals' "Baby, I'm Real" and Three Degrees' "When Will I See You Again." Just that brief list of songs should give you an idea of how broad the scope of the series is. This is actually one of the more unified collections and for that reason; it is also one of the most successful artistically.
