Really great book, but its one downfall is that, while there are a lot of photos of the shoe making process, there isn't necessarily a focus on showing examples of finished shoes. A lot is left to the imagination of the reader to come up with ideas. I'm a craft-challenged person & as such, I need more in the way of doll shoe eye candy to get me inspired. The visual shoe dictionary is wonderful, but photos of actual shoes would improve it to no end. It is a great book that is definitely worth the price.
