A Top 10 Nook Bestseller from a New York Times Bestselling Author!

London, 1817

Sean Delaney has no shortage of female admirers, but all he wants is a divorce—for his sister, that is. Too bad her rotter of a husband, reclusive oil painter John Hamilton, won't consent unless Sean agrees to help him pull off a major deception. With his sister's happiness on the line, Sean has no choice. But he won't be able to do it alone...

Though Lady Corinna Chase is more interested in pursuing her art than finding a husband, she can't help but take notice of the handsome Irishman who's moved in next door. When it soon becomes evident that her new neighbor isn't who he says he is, rather than expose him, she finds herself drawn into the hoax. As collaboration grows into admiration, and temptation breeds desire, Corinna faces a difficult choice: Will she abandon her artistic ambitions, or give up the man she's come to love?

Meanwhile, Corinna's brother Griffin is helping their alluring cousin Rachael find her father. Thank goodness they're cousins, because Rachael has made it clear she won't ever marry one. Except…they discover she isn't actually his cousin. Good God, he's really in trouble now…

Meet the Author

I decided to become a writer in the third grade (or, as my Canadian friends call it, grade three), after winning a "Why My Mother is the Greatest" essay contest and having my entry published in a major newspaper. Seeing my words in print was a thrill! But everyone told me it's too hard for novelists to get published, so after college I spent fourteen years as the CEO of my own jewelry store chain before writing my first book. A mistake? Maybe...but my first heroine, Amethyst, was a jeweler, so at least I took advantage of that wise old saying, "Write what you know." And I learned a good lesson: Don't let other people tell you what you can or can't do!

I write humorous historical romance mostly set in England and Scotland in the 17th and 19th centuries (Restoration and Regency periods). I've been oh-so-lucky to see my books hit bestseller lists all over the world, including the New York Times and USA Today lists, making this second career a real dream come true. I live in Southern California with my family and a constantly shedding cat, and I still think my mother is the greatest!

As Good As The First Book Of The Trilogy!! I can't decide which

As Good As The First Book Of The Trilogy!! I can't decide which is my favorite, book one or this one. I didn't care for Juliana's story very much, not as exciting as the other two. This one really tug on my heart strings - a lot. I liked how there were really two love stories going on in this book, and it made it very exciting. This is a very loving story, not only for the love between our two main character's, but for the Uncle and how Sean cared for him. I thought the Uncle was such a loveable guy, and very smart too. This book is a great story, and a great deal if you purchase the bundle because you get to catch up on all the Chase family. (ljb)

If you love Regency Era Romance, buy the 3 book set, you won't stop at one book!

I love the three books in this series (Regency Chase Family)! I have not read the stories of the prior generations of Chase family (author's other books, other series), but this generation of Chase family is so, so endearing! These 3 books tell the story of Griffin, his three sisters, and their extended family. This book is the 3rd and final and focuses on Corina, the youngest of Griffin's sisters. This author writes INCREDIBLY well, with humor. If Ms. Royal were to write more on the Regency Era, I would buy those books without hesitation! Please, Lauren Royal, can we have more on the Regency Era, with another family just as endearing?

    Ahhhh love.....

*Insert happy sigh here* I loved it! Sometimes when you read so many books by the same author they tend to blend and all kinda sound alike....not Laurens books! I absolutely loved this one! The character all felt like comfortable old friends & the 2 romantic storylines always kept things exciting. From the utter sadness & devestation to the ecstatic joy its yet another horribly wonderful emotional roller coaster through the pages of history!
