    Highly Recommend You Buy This Slow Cooker Book!!!!

    This is THE BEST slow cooker recipe book ever!!! Andrew Schloss has done a great job compiling easy-to-understand directions, and Yvonne Duivenvoorden has created beautiful, mouth-watering photos that inspire you to try the dishes! I have made several of the recipes and they always come out great. I have tried other slow cooker books but the recipes are usually too salty or the food is mushy. This book really tops the list for bringing out flavor and being delicious! There is prep work involved in the recipes but that is what makes the food come out tasting great!!! I always reach for it when I need a good slow cooker recipe! I am a huge fan of this book. I highly recommend that you buy it if you have a slow cooker!!! It is great!!!!

    A very different slow cooker book

    This book has some very different recipies and some very good advice for using a slow cooker. Some of the recipies are a bit complicated and require some pre-slow cooking prep work, but are far more interesting than a simple chile with canned beans. What I liked best is that many of the recipies would be suitable for what I call a "dress-up" party...the kind where you use the good dishes, light candles, break out the good wine, etc... There are also some recipies that are suitable to throw together for an anytime meal.

    Definitely worth a look if you are searching for more upscale slow cooker recipies.

    Not your typical slow cooker recipes

    I have always had trouble finding slow cooker recipes the whole family likes, but this book helped! Great short ribs, ragu, pork and other easy to follow and delicious recipes. A keeper in my house!
