Cryptic, yet wise words to manipulate people by...

I found the tone of the book very much in the military mindset (and, as I understand, this philosophy is used in military leadership teachings all over the civilized world).

The words of wisdom to be gained by the business world are also quite valuable. I would recommend this to be read in conjunction with Machiavelli's The Prince.

    Sunstar's Story-Chapter Seven

Sunpelt padded out of the warriors den and looked around camp. She saw Thornberry go relieve Flamepelt, Dawnsky, and Mistrose from their warrior vigil. She saw two elders, Lichenpelt and Thrushbird, sharing tounges. She also saw Lionstar jump up on the Highledge. "All cats gather for a clan meeting!" He yowled. Sunpelt raced over to the Highledge and sat with Summerwish, lookibg up at their leader. "Two kits have reached six moons and are ready to be apprentices." Lionstar began. "Softkit and Heatherkit, please step forward." Sunpelt smiled as the two kits stepped up, trembling. "Softkit, from this moment on you will known as Softpaw. Your mentor will be Sunpelt. Heatherkit, from this moment on you will be known as Heatherpaw. Your mentor will be Summerwish." Sunpelt and Summerwish exchanged gleeful glances. They had apprentices! As the clan chanted, "Softpaw! Heatherpaw! Softpaw! Heatherpaw!", Sunpelt touched noses with Softpaw. "You'll do great." She whispered to the young cat. *********Later, in the warrior's den, Sunpelt and Summerwish smiled at each other. "Apprentices!" Summerwish squealed happily. But Sunpelt was already asleep. CHAPTER EIGHT IN NEXT RESULT!
