Enrique de Villena fue maestre de la Orden de Calatrava y escribi� entre otras obras Los doce trabajos de H�rcules, Tratado de la lepra, Arte de trovar, Tratado de consolidaci�n, Traducci�n y glosas de la Eneida, y Arte Cisoria� Tras su muerte en Madrid, Juan II de Castilla orden� al obispo Lope de Barrientos que quemara todos los libros prohibidos que encontrara en su biblioteca.
