This book is the key that released my inner artist. I can't draw, I can't paint, but I can make a collage...and so can you! The author provides practical information and easy-to-follow instructions on how to make your own collages. She also encourages you to express your own special brand of creativity, pulling from fond memories, past and present hobbies, and long-forgotten keepsakes to create artwork that expresses your own passions and personalities. What could be more satisfying than looking at a unique work of art you've made with your own two hands? It doesn't cost much to get started (another bonus), and the possibilities are endless.

This book contains basic information for beginners. It gives a nice guide for glues and other useful information if you have never worked with art materials. A fledgling artist or someone who dabbles in art as a hobby can easily follow the demonstrations. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. If you are at all creative you can make wonderful collages using this book. The how-to portion and the what to do with the finished product section gives tons of information. It is easy to read, visually appealing and very informative. If you can't stand waste and have a full "everything" drawer, here is an easy way to clean up and feel virtuous. It's also just fun to read, and would make a great gift to a creative, or wannabe creative friend.
