    Inspirational!

I checked this out of the library first and was so taken with this book that I had to go out and buy it. There are tips on how to get started and keep going, ideas on making your own journal, and one of my favorites is the spiral-bound index card journal for carrying around and adding to in moments of spontaneity. A good resource for continuing inspiration!

Don't let the size fool you!

I was so surprised by the amount of useful information in this book. Don't let the size fool you! I wish every book gave this much information and was so easy to carry around. I have learned so many new techniques to include in my own artwork and I have told every artist (or aspiring artist) I know to check out or buy this book. Every page is full of eye candy that stirs the imagination. I will never hesitate to buy another book with Lynne Perrella's name on it. A true inspiration!

If you are a fan of Somerset Studio and there publication 'True Colors', then you will love this book! This book is a must have for all those journalist, book artist, for anyone not wanting to 'conform' but see way outside the box with personal creations. I have admired Lynne Perrella's work frequently visiting her website and those of her fellow artist such as teesha moore, nina bagley, sarah fishburn, leslie riley and many more great artists! I will have my head in the clouds on this great book that provides wonderful tips and 'prompts' to get you starting in your own creations with art journaling, and creating and more important, playing. Thanks Lynne for a great Book!!
