This book is one every art educator should own and read frequently. Written by a non-art person, it compiles all the recent brain research into one document as the material relates to the various forms of artistic expression: visual, musical, physical (dance), and dramatic. Eric Jensen writes in a style that is easily read and understood, without a lot of technical terms. It is enjoyable to read. It should also be required reading for all administrators and board members.
