As Kosher as They Wanna Be

Editorial Reviews

All Music Guide - Alex Henderson
A very cute novelty item, As Kosher as They Wanna Be would make Dr. Demento proud. Novelty is definitely the right word -- 2 Live Jews wasn't a real rap group, but rather a studio creation that was good for a few laughs. About the only time this CD becomes serious is on "Young Jews Be Proud," which brings to mind Run-D.M.C.'s "Proud to Be Black," except that it's reflecting on Jewish history. But for the most part, Kosher's main purpose is to provide some comic relief.
