If you like mid-century children's lit, you'll love this book. I rank it up there near the best of Eleanor Estes and Elizabeth Enright.

I didn't want this book to end. Great story of young girls in an era gone by. The complete innocence and love of life these girls share makes this book a delightful reading adventure.

This story about two small girls is somewhat enjoyable and even funny in places. Brings back memories of childhood days.
