For Christian Darringer, life isn’t worth living. Just back from the Middle East – scarred and with permanent damage to one leg – he does not think anyone will want him for anything. He hadn’t planned on meeting a gorgeous man he finds himself thinking about constantly. Pulled toward the startling younger man with striking blue eyes, he begins to question a lot of things – especially his sexuality. Logan Mannette has almost everything he ever wanted: loving parents, happiness, friends and security. The only thing missing is the love of his life, a love just like his parents’. When he meets Christian at a party, everything changes. Instantly attracted, he does his best to help this sad man and quickly finds himself feeling more than he has ever felt before. Raised in a domestic discipline household, he holds that ideal as what he wants but his interest in spanking has become a fetish and when Christian admits he wants to be spanked, Logan believes he might have found the perfect man.

Just as everything begins for them, Christian’s past intercedes and one of his brothers makes waves about him dating a man. If not for Logan’s support, he might have folded. But with the love of one amazing man, Christian finds that living his life rather than just existing is as natural as breathing.

Meet the Author

For Thianna D, reading and writing are as important as breathing and far more important than math or science. A storyteller from the time she could speak, she was always making up characters as a kid. As a teenager that turned to sci-fi and fantasy, as an adult to romance. It wasn’t until her fourth decade that she began writing erotic scenes within her stories.
Writing M/M came naturally to her; she wrote her first tale before ever having read one. “There is something about the amazing dynamic between two strong men falling in love and defeating anything thrown at them.” While she had written several BDSM stories involving men, As Natural As Breathing was the first full-length novel involving domestic discipline.

Even though this book has two main MC’s Christian an ex- military guy that was injured by his own men because he stood up for another airman that happened to be gay. And Logan a college guy that lives in the same town that Christian home is. We also have a number of other characters that play pretty important roles. Including both sets of parents and siblings, Christian and Logan met at a party and found a friendship that developed into a loving caring relationship.  I did enjoy this story; I liked Christian and Logan together. I liked the parents.  I even enjoyed the idiot brother at the end. The only thing I didn’t care for was the DD; I didn’t think it added to anything to the story if anything took away from the sweetness of the story, and for me dropped this story from a 5 to a 4.  I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review by Crystals Many Reviews

ThreeStar Christian is an injured war vet. He has recently returned home damaged both physically and emotionally. Logan is a university drama student in Seattle. Christian’s father works for Logan’s father and the two men meet up at a Christmas party. This feels much more modern than recent m/m New Adult books I’ve read because the writer has drawn two loving, accepting families for Christian and Logan. She may have pushed things a little too far when Christian’s girlfriend of eight years tries to set the men up - but it was refreshing not to have to wade through secretive, closeted angst with one or both of the young main characters. It resonated quite truthfully that the parents understood their children’s sexuality before Logan and Christian did. I liked the way Logan was able to help Christian with his injuries and his PTSD without there being any suggestion that Christian’s problems were ever going to be treated easily. I liked the supporting characters. Both sets of parents were great - though I felt a little squeamish at the amount of sharing in Logan’s family. I liked Kelli, Christian’s saint of a girlfriend. I’m still not sure there was any need for Brian’s character. He wasn’t believable. How does an open, loving family raise a bigot? And even stranger, why didn’t Christian’s parents make Brian leave? THis book was marketed as BDSM. Interestingly, it wasn’t something that really caught my attention. The spanking scenes were pretty tame. I felt that Logan’s description of his desired domestic discipline lifestyle seemed somehow clinical and emotionless. Also, somehow Logan managed to be fully trained enough to be recognised as a club Dom before graduating from college. Right. But there were a couple of hot sex scenes that involved spanking, so who needs to quibble details? The writing was choppy and the story was unbelievably saccharine at times. If you like Sandrine Gasq-Dion’s style, you’ll love this. If you are a stickler for formal standard English, you might get frustrated. I alternated between the two. In the end, I suspended my disbelief and enjoyed the story. I was given this in return for an honest review by Inked Rainbow Reads. Sarah

My first exposure to Thianna D.’s writing was her M/F Domestic Discipline books in the Corbin’s Bend series. As I enjoyed her writing style and found DD to be a fascinating subject to read about, I was excited for the opportunity to read this book and to see how an M/M DD relationship would work. What I didn’t remember when I started reading As Natural as Breathing was that it was the first book in a trilogy surrounding Christian and Logan and so I was torn between wanting their happy ending now (which it better be) and enjoying the fact that I get to spend 3 books with these lovely characters.  I was absolutely enamored by Christian’s character. In case the fact that he has returned home from the military after suffering permanent physical injuries due to “friendly fire: wasn’t enough, he had to deal with questions regarding his sexuality, coming out to his family, and dealing with the rantings of a religious fanatic (aka his brother). Logan’s arrival in his life was pivotal to Christian being able to deal with everything going on around him. That Logan found Christian just as handsome, scars and all, was a bonus as their chemistry was electric. Because this is the first book in the trilogy and because Christian is confused about his sexuality, there is no actual sex; instead the two men engage in heavy petting and make out sessions that reminded me just how much fun two people could have with their clothes on.  As Natural as Breathing is an excellent beginning for the series and I cannot wait to begin book two, Took My Breath Away, so that I can spend more time with Christian and Logan. These two guys make a wonderful couple and I cannot wait to see how their romance unfolds and develops over the rest of the series. Thianna D. has done an excellent job and I am looking forward to reading more of her work.  I received a complimentary copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.  Reviewed by Angela at Crystal's Many Reviewers!

It is a beautifully written story of a man scarred by war and still fighting his own internal battle. Christian Darringer is a physically damaged man, suffering from PTSD he returns home from the Middle East depressed and despondent. His family and ex girlfriend are waiting to heal him but he has little interest in life. Until he sees blue eyed handsome local man Logan. Christian feels shocked by his sexual attraction to Logan and fights against it. But the pull is too strong, and they end up kissing and much, much more. Tenderly told, this is a story of a man’s realisation that he has feelings for someone of the same sex. Christian’s induction into spanking and MM sex is so frickin hot! Logan grew up in a DD home and has a huge fetish for spanking. Christian is more than willing to be spanked and these scenes are scorching hot. This author really knows how to make a connection emotional between characters and transfer that into he physical side of a relationship. The scenes where Logan and Christian were intimate were panty wetting to say the least. I loved this book; it was just long enough to get the story across without dragging it out. I felt real anticipation as a reader, waiting for the next spanking or sex scene was excruciating. Can’t wait to check out more from Thianna D. Highly recommended!

4.5 Stars One thing I do enjoy when it comes to books, are the opposite attract stories. And that is this book by far! Logan and Christian are complete 180’s of each other. But they still enjoyed being with each other. When this book first started out, I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about it. As I got further and further into the story, I felt pulled to find out what was going to happen next. What was going on with them? And so I am really glad that I pushed through and kept reading the book because it ended up being a really good read for me. I liked the amount of details that the author went into when it came to the characters; their pasts, present and what they wanted in the future. That was done to an amazing level. And the family, I do like how she brought the families into the book as well. Because they all played such a big role in their lives I am just glad that it all worked out for them. I also liked the drama that was thrown in there, with one certain family member. I have to say I have no clue where she was going with that and it completely out of left field, but I think it was done very well. This is not a quick read by any means, but it will draw you in and it will make you think and wonder. Reviewed by Crystal for Crystal’s Many Reviewers *Copy provided for honest review*

Loved this story. So it recommended in a post and since it combined my two favorite genres MM and DD I couldn't wait to read it. And I was not disappointed at all. This was all I hoped for and so much more. This is a deep story that really draws you. Even the secondary characters are fleshed out and made real through the story of Logan and Christian. Please, please let their be a second story to complete their story.
