I held appointments with the Royal Navy, the Royal Marines and the Royal Air Force. There is a story in there somewhere and as memoirs are not the exclusive domain of generals....... .....this is my story. It is based on my experiences, about people and places and events that I have known, not a definitive record of the Royal Corps of Transport, but my life in it. I have had great fun researching and writing it. I hope you enjoy reading it.
