Terry C. Johnston, born on the first day of 1947 on the plains of Kansas, lived his whole life in the American West. His first novel, Carry the Wind, won the Medicine Pipe Bearer’s Award from the Western Writers of America, and his subsequent books have appeared on bestseller lists throughout the country.

    ...... You were there the day i found what love was... but that all changed when we fell for each other... but what i dont understand.. is why you had leave me in this pit of teeears baby please just lemme see your face agaaain... this will leave a scar in my life.... the tears fall down my face showin i lost my faiith of you comin back, just tell me when this nightmare is overrooo and i can touch you and see that your real and not just a hallucination woooo.... the sun is cold, the grass is brown, there aint no sunshine or starry nights.... without yooooooooooooooooooooooooou........
