Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Suzanna E. Henshon
Amy Green, age thirteen, loves solving other people's problems. But one day she is between a rock and a hard place. Her best friend, Mills, is dumped by a handsome boy named Bailey Otis. Amy's mother is planning a wedding, and Amy spends so much time solving other people's problems that she barely has time for her own boyfriend, Seth. Things get more complicated when Amy's mother is hired to be the ghostwriter for Finn Otis, a famous actor. When Amy discovers that Bailey is the long-lost son of this famous actor, she doesn't know what to do. If Amy shares this information, will she break the confidentiality contract her mother signed? Or is it better to risk everything by setting up a meeting between the father and son? Young readers will enjoy meeting Amy Green, an inquisitive and sensitive teen who is destined to be a memorable character in young adult fiction. Reviewer: Suzanna E. Henshon, Ph.D.
