Overview

The third book of the Dream Catcher series, a sweet, historical, interracial romance. Sam was busy burying a man that had been hung and left in a tree when Riley Morgan came along. Fascinated by the little misfit's story of her ranch being stolen out from under her, he still knew she was trouble with a capital T. However, Sam's sense of right and wrong kicked in and he knew he would have to help her, despite the obvious danger.

Surviving a tornado, masquerading a disguise, imploring the help of disreputable people, it was an adventure neither of them expected.

Still Riley had come back for him when he'd been dragged for miles by one of her ex-ranch men. He recognized quickly the real danger she was in.Yet, how could he help her, he was black and she was white and the two just didn't mix and he knew it.

As they traveled together though, Sam found himself caught up in her troubles and her naive. Sam couldn't keep his heart separated from good sense, even though he tried.Helping Riley made Sam feel good inside. The dangers were unimportant, he'd lived with danger and survived. But not once had Sam expected to feel a pull on his heart while keeping Riley safe. Nor had he considered what might happen when it was time to leave her.

Book Three of the Dream Catcher series.

Meet the Author

Thanks for all those who review, it is wonderful to hear from you and given your honest opinions really clarify how you feel about my books, and it is extremely appreciated. I have an announcement to make. Since authors are being taxed with something called the VAT tax, this means it will cost more to publish our books. So it is time I went up on my prices. Through the years I've always kept my prices low and offered freebies, but times are hard now for us all and I am just now catching up with other authors as to prices, so the 2.99 books will be 3.99. The only ones higher are the long western thrillers and two historical romances, Jodi's Journey and Always Remember. Aside from that the book bundles will go up to 5.99. Right now Family Matters is still on sale at ITUNES and will continue to be for a while. Men of the Northwest is still at $1.99, that will change at the end of this month.I hope our readers can bear with us while we face another fee we didn't expect. I've never had high prices on my books but I have to allow for this cut on our royalties to survive. I hope you will all understand, it is not our doing. I haven't changed the prices on my children's book yet. I want to see how much it is effected. If necessary I will go up on them, but not unless. Short stories will remain the same too, unless I see a real need for an increase. Just wanted you to know. Thanks for your understanding. The Willy series is out now so I hope your young ones will enjoy them. The new Jojo the One Eyed Puppy is out now, and this will be another children's series, so stay tuned for that. The new book, Tanker the Defender is out now. You might have noticed several of my books have new covers, like Runaway Bride, Suspicions of the Heart and Ask No Tomorrows, Nick's Baby, Pretend Mom, Suspicions of the Heart. Check them out. The McKay's are complete now and on sale. I've started a couple of new series. The Red River Valley Brides, and Brides of the West. Both of these series has books out. So look for Heart of a Lady, Last Bride,Last Man is on sale Winning the Bride is released. Heart of a Family is my new Brides of the West Series. I'm just now putting the second book of this series out, Delivering the Bride. But the newest edition to my books is Avalanche of the Heart, This is the last book of the Travers Brother's Series. Hope you enjoy that one too. I have no more free books and the reason is simple. I have offered as many as four free books of new lines and kept them free for quite some time. Now it is time to put a price on them. However, I have put a low price on my boxset that have recently come out. Family Matters is released and selling for $1.99. Family Ranch was just released but the price on that one goes to $5.99. Men of the Northwest isn't out yet, but it will sell for $1.99 until the end of this month. Now that's a lot of books for a very low price. So look for them. So what is coming next? I've got a western series coming out soon. Over at Create Space you will find that I've put all the mid-grade short stories into one collection, and the adult short stories into another, look for Thinking Time, and Romancing the Short Stories. Also the Tina series is now available in print in one volume at Create Space. The new historical western series coming out soon will be fun. I mean what might happen if five whores decide they want to be mail-order brides? Heart of a Lady, Winning the Lady are out, there are three more coming in the Red River Valley Brides. Then another new western series is Brides of the West. The first book is on pre-order now, Heart of a Family. Coming next, Delivering the Bride. What am I working on? Hired Wife, Dancing With the Preacher Man, A new Contemporary series, "the Connor's" is coming your way next year. Also a new cowboy contemporary series "Cowboy Lovin'". All in all I've got about twenty books I am working on. So stay tuned, because I am writing full time and working like a bee to get them out to you. I'm working on a short novella, Cowboy Angels that should be out this new year too. In my romances you will find many different circumstances. This is because we all fall in love differently and I'm trying to cover all the ways. From boy and girl next door, to instant attraction. I've always been a romantic so I spend a lot of time thinking along the lines of "how did you fall in love". There are so many stories this way. I hope you like some of them. Look around, I've got short stories for adults, and children. I've got historical western romance, I've got contemporary romances. All of them different in some way. Browse the series books too, you'll get that warm and cozy feeling with the Travers Brothers Series, and discover The Amory's a bunch of rugged men from the north country. There's something for everyone here, including the kids. I hope you stay long enough to sample some, and by all means if you feel like it and you read one of my books or stories, write a review about it. I love hearing from my readers. There's a lot of books in the making these days. So stay tuned.
