The idea of helping the reader to identify his or her asking style, and then connecting that asking style to specific techniques for asking for the charitable gift, seems rather simple. And it is. But then, so was relativity once Einstein explained it. In my more than three decades as a nonprofit sector practitioner, where I have both solicited gifts from individuals and supervised staff members who solicit gifts, I would be hard-pressed to think of a more transformative little book than Asking Styles. I am putting Asking Styles into the hands of as many colleagues as I can!
Terrific new guide that will help many nonprofits muster up the courage to make those important asks. This is a real contribution to our field! Thanks Andrea! Gail Perry
