Still best introduction to ASP after 3 years

This book is intended for the skilled programmer who wants to pick up ASP quickly. It is much smaller than other books(< 1 inch thick), but is extremely well written; not a word is wasted. The authors went to great pains to present the information that you will need. Most of the book is written with samples in VBScript, but sections are included for JavaScript and for building components, should that suit your fancy. I usually recommend that someone new to WWW programming also get the book 'HTML 3.2 Visual Quick Reference', by Dean Scharf (Que, 1997) - This may be difficult to find, but I have found no other comparable text. These two texts complement each other extremely well.
