About the Author

I was born and raised on a cane farm outside of Mackay, in the north of Australia, and I now live in Brisbane. I have worked in retail and hospitality, and as a Massage Therapist before I studied for a degree in psychology. I have now worked for many years with children, young people and families in child protection, residential care, homelessness, domestic violence and in the foster care system.
