Upon reading Lee Canter's book on Assertive Discipline, I applied some of the strategies listed to my PreK-3 classroom. In return, the children responded positively and my discipline problems have been reduced making them happier children. This is a wonderfully written book made for easy reading. At first, I was only going to skim through it for the key points, but after reading the first few pages, I found myself unable to put it down. A super addition for any teacher's reference.
