    ASTERIX FINDS LOST SHIELD OF VERCINGETORIX

    Asterix and Obelix are off on another adventure in ancient Gaul. This time, to help Chief Vitalstatistix regain his health after overindulging, they travel to Arvenia. A run in with a special envoy of Caesar sends them off to find the lost shield of Vercingetorix. Puns, magic potion and the bashing of Romans all contribute to another fine example of Goscinny and Uderzo's marvelous perspective of ancient history.
