    This works!

I have read another book on the Buteyko method, but this book is far superior - much 'friendlier'. The exercises make sense, and are easy to follow (cartoon-like diagrams). The background information is clear and motivating. The author does not ask you to reject your preventative medication, so shouldn't conflict with the advice of doctors. However, if you follow the exercises you will be able to decrease your dependence on reliever medication, and feel empowered to make informed decisions about your treatment. I am also following the dietary advice in the book, and am already noticing a marked improvement in my asthma symptoms.
