An interesting topic especially the team efforts in the late 1950's to get an overall Le Mans win. However the book drags most of the way with uninspiring writing and useless detail. For example, the specs for the Tickford V-8 are given but this engine was a failure for almost all the Aston Martin team efforts! Must have been data easy for the author to get. And the really important win at Le Mans is almost treated as an afterthought. Unless you are a new fan of AM and know little, I don't recommend this book. Was this review helpful?
