I thoroughly enjoyed reading the July 2011 issue of Astronomy magazine on my Nook Color. I could see the full color original published pages. I could zoom in and see all the detail. The article view feature also allowed me to read the text easily and quickly. From the Nook for PC software, I could see more on my laptop monitor, but not the original color pages. Just the articles. I will miss the pull out star map available in the print version, but I do gain exclusive members-only access to a similar software version via the Astronomy website. The content delivered all manner of astronomical information, for novices and advance amateur astronomers. Well worth the small subscription price.

It is a very good astronomy magazine. However, to get the most bang for your buck, you should be an active skywatcher if you get this magazine. It has a good 20 pages dedicated to sights to see in the night sky and new observing equipment. It is great for budding and experienced backyard astronomers alike.
