    Helped Tremendously!

I read this book two months prior to taking the ASVAB. I hadn't takne any college courses in well over 18 months, so this book acted as a very good referesher on lots of subjects. Some parts of the book are obsolete, such as Numerical Operations and Coding Speed, but I would suggest still giving them a review, since coding speed did prepare me for Assembling Objects (which the book does talk about briefly at the end). The book even gives you an idea as far as how well you need to score and what sections of the test you need to concentrate on for certain jobs in the armed forces. It will also show you how to figure out your ASVAB score for all branches of service. I credit this book for getting me an AFQT score of 90% which pretty much guarantees me any job in the military that I want (provided that it's available).
