I recently picked up this book before i took the Asvabs and it helped me review because it gave me a good idea of what was on the test and the formulas needed but some of the information about qualifications is outdated or just down right wrong. Also, some of the information included wasn't included in any of the subtests of the asvabs and vice-versa

    Dummies wrote this !!!!!

My son is taking the ASVAB in a few days and I thought he could use the pretests to get used to the questions he would see. He goes to a college prepatory HS and does well be freezes on tests when he is not used to the subject matter. He looked at the book and I went into his room to see how it was going. I said lets go over some questions on a pretest. We were a few in and I told him the answer as he didnt know it. We looked at the answer and I was wrong he said. I told him no way as I know the answer. So we looked it up online and I was right and the books answer was not even close. So we did somemore questions, in the next 6 questions we found 2 more wrong answers. We researched and made sure their answer was wrong and it was. I told him to take the book back. He doesnt need wrong information.

This book is good if you need help in all other subjects..but not for those who need extra help with math. The math lessons are NOT very explantory.
