What can I say....I love all the characters, and the story. There is so much going on in this book. There is love, happiness, sadness, fear of the unknown and even death. I have grown atached to all the characters. From the beginning of the book you are captured and held captive. You get so engrossed in the story you loose track of time. If you want a new vampire series....you must check out this series....you won't be dissapointed.

It's coming... After the events in Anathema, Sofie sent Evangeline to a safe place. Now she must face her bleak situation: she is still cursed, she’s now being hunted by a two thousand year old vampire and the man she loves just tried to kill her. Now she’s locked away in a wintry asylum with Max and the Forero kids with no hope of release for years. Meanwhile, Sofie is trying to prepare for a war that’s brewing between the Sentinel and the witches while trying to keep forty hungry Ratheus vampires under control and a desperate and vengeful Viggo from killing Evangeline’s friends. Can Sofie control the rival powers? Is the fate of the Earth predestined or can it be changed? Asylum is an awesome sequel to Anathema. It has it all love, action, danger, secrets, betrayal and even death. Yes! I said death and I’m super saddened by it. KA Tucker creates such wonderful characters that I was sad to see any of them go. There is more action in this book and less love than in the first but be sure not to be drinking anything while reading it. I spit tea on my poor e-reader! I’m totally serious! I’m not going to go directly into plot because I don’t want to run the risk of spoiling anything but trouble is brewing and this is only the beginning. Evangeline’s desire to have the curse removed so that she can be with Caden forever has some serious consequences, for not only herself but for others. There’s a lot of darkness in this book our sweet innocent Evangeline that we met in Anathema is starting to become tainted by her predicament. Thank you to KA Tucker for a review copy of this book. It in no way influenced my review.

Oh my, I could NOT get my hands on this book fast enough! I read the first one in a day (well more like one night) and the next morning I was going crazy trying to get this one! Ahhh what to say without giving away hints? Oh man I cant even collect my thoughts to write what I liked about this book. Can I just say I love Sofie! I loved Mage, I loved every character...well not everyone. But I feel like each character was so well defined! I thought I really liked Eve, but after reading the 2nd book I think Sofie is my favorite! This book did not drag for a min! I mean I read it in under 24 hrs. And it's 538 pages and it's not like I could just sit and read all day. I had class, Work, and I am a mom! Every free second I had I was reading! I was addicted to this series. I can't believe I have to wait a year for the 3rd!
