Jake and Carolyn Donovan stand accused of massacring 16 people and touching off one of the country's worst environmental catastrophes. Although innocent, they are on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List. Along with their young son, they have eluded capture for 13 years, but are finally forced to stop running and fight for their freedom—and their lives. From the bestselling author of "Nathan's Run."
Like all John Gilstrap books, At All Costs grabs you from page one and doesn't let go. In the opening chapter, the reader is thrust into the lives of Jake and Carolyn; normal everyday people with normal everyday jobs, a son and a home, until one incident sends them fleeing for their lives, on the run from the police and FBI. By chapter two, we find out the couple hold the number one spot on the FBI's Top Ten Most Wanted list. They have been in hiding for the last 12 years and don't intend to give that up now.
Enter Irene Rivers from the Jonathan Graves series. As FBI agent in charge of bringing Jake and Carolyn in, she must not only save her reputation by capturing Jake and Carolyn, but unravel the question of if they are really guilty.
As a huge fan of John Gilstrap, I was thrilled to read the story of how Irene Rivers got to the top of the FBI. This is a woman who demands her own series. She is tough, capable, smart and tender all at the same time. I'd love to read more of her story.
If you are a Gilstrap fan, you will love At All Costs. If not, you will be after reading this.

I made the mistake of staying up late one night because I only had about 100 pages to read. Well, this book is so exciting I ended up staying up until 1:00 am to finish it. Then I couldn't fall asleep, I was so worked up by the ending. One of my favorite authors, Gilstrap's At All Costs will keep you not only on the edge of your seat, but on the edge of your bed trying to fall asleep after reading it. Read this book, at all costs!

Once I got into the book, I found it hard to put it down. Remined me of John Grisham books. Good story line.

I liked the story, but too many dependencies on luck and chance, as well as a mysterious rich uncle. No Mercy was incredible and i look forward to more Digger Graves.

This was the first John Gilstrap novel I have read, and I was glad that I picked this one up. The story is an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride from page 1. The Donovans are like any American family, and it's scary to think of these consequences happening to anyone. But it's this concept that Gilstrap uses to write a magnificent story. There are many dangers and twists in the story to hold everyone's interest. I recommend this book for everyone that wants to read a well written exciting story. I'll definitely keep Gilstrap on my 'To Read' list.

I found myself unable to put this riveting book out of either my mind or hands. Twists and turns were many while the plot stayed within the bounds of possibility. A winner from start to finish!

This is one of those books that you can not put down. And I like the fact that you never know what's going to happen next - it's full of surprises. Trully a great eBook - and also PocketPC compatible what's so hard to find theese days.
