Overview

DEA agent Domino Petracelli is chasing a career-making promotion and nothing will keep her from getting her man. Okay, so she'd rather infiltrate a drug cartel than go undercover as a dominatrix at D.C.'s Xecutive Branch sex club. But she's up to the task. Police detective Dalton Cutter is a man with a mission - avenging his partner, who was murdered investigating the Xecutive Branch. Retracing his partner's steps, he goes undercover as a club client. Dalton's handled killers, junkies and pimps, but can the Alpha-male cop act submissive long enough to fool Mistress Bella? And will their sexual chemistry, crackling louder than Bella's whip, derail Dalton's investigation?

This romantic suspense pokes a bit of fun at the alphabet soup of D.C. law enforcement agencies, famous for their lack of interdepartmental cooperation. Imagine what could happen if several agencies unknowingly put operatives undercover at the same location-let the sparks fly!

    Long and lovely

DEA Agent Domino is great. She goes undercover as Mistress Bella where she meets Local PD det. Dalton. Neither knows of the involvement in the current case and neither knows the other is law enforcement. Dalton being the very strong willed and controlling man has a slightly difficult time playing the submissive in this story. But he does it. All the while aching to meet the real 'BELLA'. When he does I truly expected Paybacks being hell and all but it wasn't. I was looking for sparks to fly with him wanting to control her after what she had done to him at the club. I laughed with this story. There was a lot going on with the DEA, Local PD investigating and even the FBI but never once did the story get confusing to follow. The writer did a great job and I loved the chinese crested hairless that was the drug sniffing dog. The story was truly wonderful to read and the story line was interesting and kept you wondering if they would catch their man up until the very end.
