Editorial Reviews

Library Journal

Grimshaw and Rasmussen (Ibiza Style) visit the homes of 28 of some of London's creative talent, whose residences reflect their personal style. From Hampstead to Chelsea, a description of the area and history of the dwellings are supplied with an examination of the inhabitants' lifestyles and approach to decor. dos Santos (Simply Contemporary) and Torolsan take a similar approach in their consideration of 27 homes in Turkey, including a chalet in the Bolu Mountains, a mansion on Princes Islands, and a loft in Istanbul. They provide the history of the dwellings, which reflect the ethnic influence of each area.

    Big Fan of Ms. Santos

I love Solvi dos Santos work. This book isn't up there w/ Simply Contemporary, but it is still very very lovely and inspiring. If you've been to Turkey, it'll make you want to go back and see as any houses as you can.
