    Takes time

The tale tkes some time to get going, but after about a quater way into the book, the story really takes off and becomes intresting. Do not be turned away if you dont undrstand al tpthe science jargon the first twenty pages. By page twenty five the book will shift from scientific dscovries an descriptions of wonderment to a more eerie and sinister atmosphere.

    Illustrations not included

Perhaps I misunderstood, but my Nook Color does not display any of the illustrations mentioned in the description. This book displays simple text and nothing else. Considering you can get the complete works of H.P. Lovecraft in other Nook editions for less, this book is quite expensive for what it is

    An increible read!

Yes, the first part has a ton of scientific wording. But if you just tryto remember the narrator is usually talking about layers of rock that show different stages of Earth's history; you should do well. I was so fascinated, I read it all in one night!
