Meet the Author

Maurice de Bona, Jr. has always been interested in travel and culture. He earned a degree in geography from UCLA and has since had the opportunity to explore the countries he studied. In a two and a half year long trip around the world, Mr. de Bona Jr. visited much of Europe, the Middle East,and Asia, where he worked in the Japanese motion picture industry and taught English courses. He also traveled where to Central and South America, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries. In addition, he had the opportunity to observe the penguins, and other wildlife, in Antarctica. During these travels, Mr. de Bona Jr. learned about people and their beliefs all over the world. He now lives in Culver City, California.
