I have battled weight gain for over 50 years. My neighbors have been on the Atkins diet for about 5 years and at first I thought it was a pile of garbage but I decided to give it a go and I bought this book to help me get started. I needed an eBook that I could read on the airplane and that I could use as an easy reference and this book proved to be the perfect solution to both my needs. You will be glad you purchased this book.

Really a good book-nicely put into sections. But only recieved a partial up to page 492. Vegetable section on carb chart is missing. One of the most impotant sections! :-(

This is a great quick start guide for the Atkins diet. You will have all the information and diet details you need, including recipes right at your finger tips. It is not the most comprehensive Atkins diet book that you can buy but it is, by far, the most readable.

I have been on the Atkins diet for 12 weeks and I have lost 50 pounds. This book has helped be accomplish that goal and if you are looking for a book companion to your Atkins diet, this is the book to get. All t he information that you need is in this little Ebook. I especially like that this book can be read on my iPad because lately that is how I am reading all my books.

This diet is the only diet that has ever worked for me. I have tried every diet under the sun. The best thing about this Nook Book is that it covers EVERYTHING you need to know including recipes and it is all in one really readable and portable EBook. I purchased this book because a magazine article that I read said that this was one of the only diets that works. I have known about Atkins forever but have never tried it before because I thought the instructions for the first week were bizarre and barbaric. This book explained the diet in a more complete and understandable way and I am now well into my Atkins diet (week four). I find the diet easy to follow and I have lost 14 pounds. If you have ever contemplated starting Atkins, this is the guide that you want.

Go to internet and you get more information than this book. Missing pages and carb counter was useless as pages were not readable.

I dont know if the diet works because when i downloaded this book i did nnot receive a complete book. There are 570 pages in this book and i cant get past page 492. There are several tables in the book that do not display properly. I wish i coulld get my money back. Dont buy this book,
