Overview

PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED BY ELLORA'S CAVE. Book has been Re-edited.

Cassandra yearns for more than the planet Zaron can offer her. So she hitches a ride back to Earth determined to create her own destiny. In Malibu, she meets Brady ‘Buzz’ Rittner, a jaded ex-astronaut who’s given up all hope of returning to space.

Buzz misses the attention being a minor celebrity has brought him, but he misses space more. When he encounters Cassandra on the beach, he’s open for a light romp, but isn’t interested in anything permanent.

Can Cassandra convince him that her love is strong enough to heal the wounds of his past? Or will Buzz turn his back on the only woman who could ever understand his darkest secrets and most fervored dreams. What do a bitter ex-astronaut and a restless Atlantean woman have in common? Nothing…and everything.

(Atlantean's Quest 1: The Arrival, Atlantean's Quest 2: Exodus, Atlantean's Quest 3: Redemption, Atlantean's Quest 4: The Return)

***WARNING: This book contains smoking hot love scenes. Beach romps and space nookie.***

**REVIEWS**

I must say that I am enjoying Jordan Summers's Atlantean series. ATLANTEAN HEAT certainly adds a dash more color and flavor to this tantalizing tale. Buzz and Cassandra sizzle off the pages with sex scenes so hot, I think my fingertips got singed while I turned the pages. However, ATLANTEAN HEAT also contains emotion and a good backdrop for Buzz and Cassandra's relationship. I truly enjoyed this quick read and look forward to reading more about the Atlantean people.?--Sinclair Reid—Mad For Romance Books

Atlantean Heat is the first quick read in Jordan Summers‚ Atlantean Quest series. Like the previous books, it is fast paced and quite hot (yes, this is a warning to grab the ice cubes before you sit down to read it). Despite the fact that it is a novella, the characters are very well drawn. The plot has a couple of poignant moments making it an engaging read that touches the reader emotionally as well. Atlantean Heat proves to be a highly satisfying novella in more than one way. Certainly, this story is a must for Jordan Summers‚ fans, and if you have not read any of her books yet, you may want to give this one a try, as the storyline can be easily followed.--Mireya Orsini -- Just Erotic Romance Reviews

Jordan Summers has done it again! She has delivered us a novella with the same richly rewarding reading experience as all of her other books. Wickedly delicious passionate scenes, with impressive imagery that will have the reader glued to the pages as it all unfolds. Another book by Ms. Summers that is a must read in this Atlantean’s Quest series.?--Sandra Tibbetts—Romance Junkies

Ms. Summers has written another fantastic tale from the Atlantean series. ? Once again when this reviewer started reading she became enthralled in the?story line. It was a quick novella like it says, but still a magnificent plot and?story line. This reviewer firmly believed it would be harder for Ms.?Summers to keep the heat and intensity of the Atlantean series at the level?that the last four were but this reviewer was wrong. Ms. Summers not only?kept the intensity and heat of all the love scenes at a carnal level and?even though everything was compacted into a short read. The reader was?still in the grip of a wonderful plot with great drama between the two main?characters. She managed to maintain the integrity of the series and still?keep you on the edge cheering for both characters. This story is another?paranormal tale not to be missed.—Falling Angels Reviews

Not good, but not bad. The thing that I really didn't like is

Not good, but not bad. The thing that I really didn't like is that Cassandra's story is barely 100 pages long. The majority of the book is excerpts from the other Atlantean books. The fact that you pay the same for this book that you do for the other full length books aggravates me. 100 pages of new story versus almost 170 pages of excerpts. Does not seem like a fair deal to me. Not to mention there is very little story to it.

The story itself was not all that great. I didn't find much to like in Brady. He came across as a petulant child to me. He spent most of his time sulking and pouting over his lost career. I did like Cassandra and thought she deserved better than him. I have to admit, I didn't like Jordan Summers giving Brady the "Buzz" nickname. Giving Buzz as a nickname to an ex-astronaut? Somehow I don't think the real hero and astronaut, Buzz Aldrin, would appreciate that.

I have read all of the Atlantean and Phantom Warrior books and this is my least favorite. Cassandra deserved a better story and a better mate.

    Quick read . . . afterall, it's 3.5!

Cassandra needs guy, Cassandra meets guy, Cassandra gets guy . . . The end! Felt this story could have been added to one of the longer series books, since it's so short! It was cute but really didn't need its' own book. I'm just sayin'!
