"David Wood's Atlantis hits all the marks that a blockbuster should. With rapid-fire pacing, Wood gives you perhaps his greatest Dane and Bones adventure yet with a tale that spins and reels out of control with action. With elements of mystery, lost technology and a mythical city, this book reads like vintage Clive Cussler. His best yet!"
Rick Jones, Author of The Crypts of Eden

Atlantis by David Wood is the BEST Dane Maddock book by far and I have loved them all. Atlantis is enriched with myths, legends, archaeology, action and adventure galore and even a wee bit of romance trouble. This is the 1st adventure in which Dane, Bones and their team are working for Tam. It is a little uneasy giving up control but our heroes rise to the occasion and still fly by the seat of their pants at time. In Atlantis, the group is working against the the US division of the Dominion. They have found a machine that is said to be from Atlantis and they use it to reek destruction of US cities. This is not just another Atlantis story. It has a fresh twist and our very lovable Dane and Bones to the rescue. I can't wait for the next book in the Dane Maddock Adventures as David Wood left the ending totally and completely unanswered. Well played, David. If you haven't read a Dane Maddock Adventure, you have no idea what you are missing. A must read series.
I have been waiting patiently for this installment and it does not disappoint! (Although this could be a stand alone, it helps to read the previous books). Maddock, Bones and rest are back in this witty, page turning, action packed novel! Dane Maddock, underwater treasure hunter, is now dealing with belonging to a new secret group under the leadership of Tam, and trying to solve the mystery of the cities of Atlantis, all the while trying to stay one step ahead of the Dominion, who wants the lethal Atlantis machines to purge the world. And if that wasn’t enough, he’s now teamed with his ex-girlfriend Jade. (Personally, I’m rooting for his present girlfriend, Angel!) The only negative comment is the ending which makes me feel impatient for the next book because I want more!
If you are not reading David Wood's books, you are missing out. He is the author of books from across almost every genre (here are a few: horror- Dark Rite, young adult-You Suck, fantasy - The Absent God Series, historical fiction - Into the Woods and (my favorite) action adventure - the Dane Maddock's series). In his new book Atlantis, Maddock and Bones continue their battle against The Dominion (the organization out to cleanse the world). Teaming up with Tam, Willis, Avery, and Corey from previous novel, they must race to find the legendary cities of Atlantis to prevent the Dominion from gaining controlling of technology that could be used to bestowed upon the world a fate only Atlantis has every experienced. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys books by James Rollin, Jeremy Robinson, and Paul Kemprecos. I can wait to see what historical mystery David will tackle next. Maybe the Bermuda Triangle??? This book was given to me in exchange for an honest review.
