Each chapter in this new edition is revised and updated to reflect advances in neurology and the new understandings of gene structure and function and mutation in dominantly inherited diseases. Several hundred detailed images are provided as the framework for rational therapy in this edition.

Audience: The descriptive text for each disease and the detailed images are presented for self-instruction as well as for lecture presentation, providing highly useful educational material for students and teachers.
Features: All the major neurological disorders are discussed at length, including their clinical manifestations, descriptive neuroimaging, laboratory evaluation, pathology, and differential diagnoses. Also covered are disease management, medical and drug treatments, advised therapy, and long term recovery goals.
