Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"This is a very handy atlas that would complement any reading room, especially at a teaching institution. The images are great and there are plenty of them. The text is high yield and easy to read, a great resource -- especially for busy residents."

Reviewer: Kurosh Safavi, MD (Ochsner Health Center - Metairie)
Description: This visually-oriented reference of ultrasound in obstetrics and gynecology includes online access to video clips to enhance learning. The previous edition was published in 2003.
Purpose: The purpose is to provide a comprehensive visual reference to obstetric/gynecology ultrasound.
Audience: It appears intended for a diverse audience and would be appropriate for radiologists, radiology technologists, obstetricians/gynecologists, obstetric/gynecology technologists, and all associated residents.
Features: The book covers all basic and most advanced topics in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound. The many clear images and straightforward, high-yield text are the best attributes of the book. Shortcomings are that some topics are not covered, thus making it less useful for advanced practitioners in some cases.
Assessment: This is a very handy atlas that would complement any reading room, especially at a teaching institution. The images are great and there are plenty of them. The text is high yield and easy to read, a great resource — especially for busy residents.
